Been at work all day,
feel like a slave,
I don’t need no man, to take care of me,
say what you want to say about me,
haters will always hate, don’t blame them that’s their way,
but I don’t care because I’m free,
Do you see that, when you look at me?
I have loved more than enough,
but times that by, the tears I’ve cried,
and that tells you, why there’s no man,
by my side.
I don’t feel the need to run and hide,
It’s not wrong to want a man, just for one night,
by the rules I don’t abide,
I like to make things simplified,
at least then terms are specified,
No risk of being unsatisfied.
